Rudy and I want to give away a prize to our anipals. It is a wall hanging made by Mom and Dad (yes, Dad sews!). For those of you who recognize the name of designer Laurel Burch, the wall hanging uses one of her panels. The quilt isn't done yet, but as soon as Mom gets it quilted, it will be shipped.

ReplyDeleteRudy has so much personality - it shines through the computer screen. Rumblemum says that he's so much like Rumbles with his expressions and confidence, but that Rudy has his own unique charm and grace that just melts her heart.
Such a special boy, gone too soon.

Heer is a lim-er-ick mom wrote in Rudy's memory. She is furry sad, az are we, dat he went to da bridge before we could really get to know him. Just barely met him when he wuz sick. :-( So sad. Here is mom's poem:

ReplyDeleteAs soon as I heard Time after Time playing, my eyes were all teary. Rudy held his head so high, you just know he was from a royal lineage. My two favorite images are of Rudy on top of the ladder with the Christmas tree, and the last soft, sweet shot of Rudy looking off in the distance. Loved and missed. Loved and not forgotten.
