One of the best cat related books I have ever read is "The Confessions of a Catnip Junkie" by Allan Goldstein. However, this isn't a book about a cat. It is about a journey one makes to find himself told by a cat. One reviewer compared it to "Wizard of Oz", but I found it more like "On the Road" or "Dharma bums".
We will be discussing the book at Mon the 20th #readpawty. You can find my review at the AnipalTimes. Read the book, indulge in your favorite jones (catnip, chocolate, wine, etc.) and judge for yourself. I guarantee you will laugh yourself silly at times. Hope to see you there!
That sounds like a pawsome book. I don't have time to read books but may have to give it a try. I'm sure it's available as an e-book.
ReplyDeleteAvailable only through amazon for the kindle, not available from B&N. I got the kindle version myself.
DeleteI read/reviewed this on Cat Chat as well and it is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES. I read it in one night and couldn't put it down. It is SUPERB!
ReplyDeleteI read your review after I read the book, and thought it was spot on!
DeleteI read this book (and reviewed it on my blog several months back) and it is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteI laughed and cried and even related bits to Dad, the dog person.
