Parker in suitcase - classic!

One of the best cat related books I have ever read is "The Confessions of a Catnip Junkie" by Allan Goldstein. However, this isn't a book about a cat. It is about a journey one makes to find himself told by a cat. One reviewer compared it to "Wizard of Oz", but I found it more like "On the Road" or "Dharma bums".

We will be discussing the book at Mon the 20th #readpawty. You can find my review at the AnipalTimes. Read the book, indulge in your favorite jones (catnip, chocolate, wine, etc.) and judge for yourself. I guarantee you will laugh yourself silly at times. Hope to see you there!

Cranking

Well, I was on mom's lap the other night, and who should come up from the other side but Parker! Luckily I was to snoozy to tell him what for. So, here we are, all 32 pounds of cat on mom's lap. thank goodness she has a big one, um, lap that is!

Of course, Mom won't be anywhere without her iPawd. And, Dad took the picture. He's not the best with cameras, but we tolerate him anyway.

Semi thankful Thursday

Well, mom is off to puerto Vallarta Mexico! Yay mom! Maybe she will come home al relaxed and will quit the smooching on our heads. (Secret-we rough up the tops of our heads so there are lots of loose cat hairs for her to inhale!). That is the good thing.

We are glad to have funny sweet neighbors who take care of us. Frank rogh houses with Parker, also know as Bob due to his ear tips. That takes pressure off me to be Parker's target. The wife is ditzy, and we try to get 2 meals out of her, but he don't try too hard cuz she brushes us.

We miss mom, and even DA DOG and Dad. we will be thankful when she is back on Saturday.

I am glad mom has friends. she has been driving us nuts with the holding and pettin, and she has even taken to smooching the top of our heads. So, we are very glad when she can talk to Auntie Dee and her BlogPaw friends and her professor friends.

These fine humans have given her the strength to talk to her director about rearranging the department so she no longer reports to the Man of Torture. So, things will become moe interesting for her, and maybe she won't mope around the house so much.

Thank you, Mom's Human Friends! It took all of Twitter to give her strentgh.
